Written quickly, kept simple. Drums for the first time, played with brushes so the paintings in the room next door could sleep.

Ten slow, low-lit songs written in the studio between paintings, held together by tape hiss and a borrowed harmonium.
Recorded at home over a wet spring, mostly at night. Voice, harmonium, baritone guitar, and the room itself. Mastered by a friend who kept asking for it to be quieter, which was correct.

Five sparse pieces for voice and piano, recorded in a single January weekend in an unheated annex.
The cold is audible. You can hear the pedal mechanism stiffen across the weekend. Left in, along with everything else the room offered.
